If you run a membership site containing thumbnail photo galleries, you simply must have the AutoGalleryMaker (AGM). AGM will save you countless hours by completly automating the never ending task of creating new thumbnail galleries. Say good-bye to burning the midnight oil cranking out each day's or week's gallery updates. Say good-bye to broken links forever. Imagine going on vacation knowing that your galleries are being updated while you are out having fun away from your computer. Sound too good to be true ? Well with AGM this could be your reality.
Here's how AGM works:
You simply upload your full size jpg pictures into your various category directories on your server and AGM uses templates to automatically generate your pictures' coresponding thumbnails and html gallery pages, as well as an index page for each category and a update page with a list of links to all the newest gallery updates for all categories. Naturally, the thumbnail's on each gallery page link to their respective full size images. And each gallery page has "previous" and "next" links to navigate through the gallery pages within each category.
AGM has a web interface that allows you to schedule in advance which galleries you want to update and when you want them updated.
AGM uses a unique naming scheme and includes renaming scripts for ease of integrating old galleries into this new scheme.
Other AGM features:
AGM has no limitation to the number of categories or pictures in your galleries
thumbnail html pages display "img height" and "img width" tags for fast loading pages
AGM has an option to generate and display "lo src" thumbnail images (lo res b/w thumbs) for faster loading thumbnail pages
because AGM uses templates, you can completly customize the look and feel of your pages
because AGM creates actual pages, your wont be burning server resources running scripts everytime someone browses one of your galleries.
all category "index" pages as well as the "updates" page display a list of the galleries made
(most recent on top)
This list includes: 1) a link to that gallery 2) the date it was made 3) the category name and gallery page number
